Chinatsu Murayama Sensei – Special Guest

The PNKF is proud to announce that 5 time All Japan Women’s Champion, Chinatsu Murayama Sensei will be joining us July 13th as our special guest at the 5th PNKF North American Women’s Kendo Taikai!

She will also be conducting seminars throughout the week at dojos around the PNKF, final schedule is TBA.

Mark your calendars! We are anticipating that the taikai format will be the same as the previous years, registration for both the taikai and the seminar will open up this spring.

Announcements will be made in both volume and quantity, so stay tuned here or with our Facebook event!

Thanks to all of our competitors who came from all over the US and Canada to make this the largest PNKF Women’s Taikai yet! At 78 competitors, we were just short of the 83 that entered the 2008 US Nationals and we plan on growing that even more, so be sure to join us again in 2013!

Thank you to all the shimpan and Katsura sensei for donating their Saturday to judge and of course, last but not least our huge group of volunteers!

Drive all the way to the back where the playground/toys are.

Monday June 21, 2010: seminar on teaching kendo 6:30-9:30 PM with J. Marsten.
Wednesday June 23, 2010: Sno-King 6:30-9:30 PM on shiai with Katsura sensei
Thursday June 24, 2010: Sno-King 6:30-9:30 PM on shiai with Katsura sensei
Friday June 25, 2010: Godo Keiko for Women at Bellevue Kendo Club with Katsura sensei
