Women’s Kendo Taikai Tenugui are Here

Womens Kendo · May 1, 2010 ·

Check it out! The prettiest purple and oh so chic design is what all the ladies will be wearing this summer. The cool ones anyway. The ones that signed up for the Women’s Taikai on June 26th! All participants receive one of these commemorative tenugui with their participation in the women’s taikai, so sign up now! (We had to use a male model, he’s the chairman of the taikai after all.)

Need more than one? Can’t make it? Can’t participate? (Out of town, too young or suffer from being a guy?) Tenugui are for sale! Fill out the comment box or email us and we’ll get you one! $10 each. Limited supply!

Competitors get first dibs, so if you’re competing and want to order more, let us know and we’ll set them aside for you to pick up at the taikai.

It will most likely start in the early afternoon and be followed by some dinner fun.

If you would like to go, please email ebkendo at hotmail.com and we’ll get you on the list for updates and carpools by January 8th, 2010.

Rock and Roll Seattle Marathon

Womens Kendo · Nov 25, 2009 ·

Be advised if you are coming that the Seattle Rock and Roll Marathon is going to be held also on June 26, in the Seattle and Tukwila area. The race starts in the north Tukwila area at 7am by BECU and finishes at Qwest Field in downtown Seattle.

The Renton Community Center is near, but not close enough so that you should not encounter road closures if you stick to the I-405 and Maple Valley Highway.

Do not try and cut through Renton or Tukwila the morning of the taikai, or you may be very sorry.
